You Don’t Have To Go Along

We grow up with a need to fit in.

It’s pretty natural I think.

I’ve listened to experts talk about these phases we have and getting along seems to be one of them.

If you push the limits or go outside the cultural boundaries there is a price to pay.

Lots of fence straddlers in the world today.

People who would rather ride waves than make one.

So many issues in the headlines that mean little to you and me but the world to those pushing a cultural agenda.

Why?

Because it takes the focus off real issues of importance and bogs down real solutions behind make believe “issues.”

I think it might be time for you and me to draw our own lines.

Yeh, no one owns the big magic marker.

But they’d like you to think they do.

For far too long we’ve allowed things to slide into a place of moral decay.

We looked the other way or tried to ignore it.

But are you like me?

Has it become too corrupt, too degraded and too evil to put up with anymore?

Yeh, I’m right there with you and if you are someone who doesn’t feel that way, I’m happy for you but I’m also not going to soften my words to protect your feelings.

There are things going on in the world right now that are ridiculous and I think it’s time to say so.

Oh, yeh, it won’t be fun and those creating the non-sense will put up a fight but at some point I’m tired of giving into bullshit because of those who can’t identify right and wrong, good and bad, lies and truth.

So I’m not going along with the messages of madness.

When something smells like poop, I’m not going to say it’s okay, I’m gonna say it smells like crap.

I’m not looking for a fight but tired of backing down while others walk all over us.

So, here we go.

Let’s use science, morality, truth and facts to open a big ole can of whoop ass.

I think it’s time.
