When Ignorance Ruled The World

Writer: Rick DancerRick Dancer

It was five years ago this week that the biggest lie of the century killed millions, destroyed democracy and robbed us of free speech.

I still remember how scary it was in the beginning. But it didn’t take long to start questioning things when one day no masks and then two plus a plastic shield.

My barber and tattoo artist had to dress like hazmat agents with duct tape, masks, shields and goggles. We couldn’t hike outside , had to limit trips to the store and our neighbors were encouraged to report those who had “too many cars in their area”. It was like Germany and the NAZIs but our nazis had virtue and they signaled it everywhere.

It is the most embarrassing, disconcerting, disgusting time of my life.

Every time I put that mask on I felt like a liar, a player in a play that was orchestrated by the man behind the curtain.

They locked us down, fired the non complaint and shunned the rest of us for asking a question.

As it turns out They were wrong , totally wrong and to this day no apology or admission of guilt. We had cures on the shelves but they banned them so they could get the vax through. How many died at their hands? And yet they told us we were killing people by not masking up or vaxxing. Science spit in their faces and still no questioning on their part.

Yes, covid was real but the cultural reaction was ridiculous.

Many died but the virus was engineered and we know where it started.

We knew the what made people more susceptible to death but rather than start a public awareness campaign to get America Healthy, we restricted gyms, outdoor activities and kept McDonald’s open.

In Oregon each week “Queen Brown” our governor, would get online and announce which counties numbers were coming down and in her “Grace” would allow them to open a little more.

Kathy and I used to take our bikes to the open counties, ride, go to lunch and try to forget about the utter madness consuming the culture.

It was the dumbest, most embarrassing time I can remember…..and I won’t forget.

The good news is culture showed its weakness and how easily it can be manipulated by fear. I’m sure the powers behind the curtain noticed and they will try it again. Next time, and it’s coming, we will not comply.  Cultures vulnerability, gullibility and fear tells on many will go along just like last time.

We will never do that again. Never.

Enough said.
