What You Are Burning Is a Bridge

A small but noisy group of people is setting fire to Tesla Dealerships and keying cars in videos to show their dissatisfaction with something, I’m not sure what. Their message, whatever it is, is lost in the violence to me and many Americans.

Most American’s support peoples right to protest but when you start rioting and destroying property that does not belong to you, the line is drawn.

What those “rioting” fail to see is what they’re really burning is a bridge to future conversation.

When you scream and yell at people for not agreeing with you and then destroy their property, most people think “to hell with you” and perhaps in the short term that’s what you want.

But long term, you’re sending a lasting message that people remember.

You call Musk a Fascist, a term like “racist” that you slap on anyone who disagrees with you.

Here’s another burned bridge.

When you use fake labels that lie about those you bully, it’s like crying wolf. It doesn’t take long for people to become numb to the words and name calling.

It doesn’t matter to the victim after a while because the words have no meaning anymore. But more importantly society turns on you as it has BLM, Antifa and other groups that pushed too hard, too long and didn’t care about the innocent victims of your temper tantrum.

Most people would use “bully” as a synonym for Fascist. Look it up. My question is how is Musk bullying you? Let that sink in a minute. Who’s bullying whom? So that might make you the “F” word?

Please just stop. If you want us to hear your grievances, end the violence and stop burning the bridge.

Protest all you want.

Take a time out so you can find a way to express your thoughts without destruction.

If you want more people than those already in your church to hear you, cal m the violence.

I’m sure you have reasons for being upset but when you cross into the world of violence, America is done with you. Your message is falling on deaf ears or those who fear your tactics….the rest of us are done with it and are moving forward. Join us or get out of the way.
