We’ve still got it folks.

Yes, the country is in dire straights and ignorance is a disease filling the streets and the institutions all across America…

But we’ve still got it.

Censorship is out of control and yet we still find ways to speak.

Our focus as a nation is on trivial things that impact just a few rather than big picture topics that slowly rip apart the fabric of our nation.

But we’ve still got it.

The situation in the world right now is bleak yet so many are standing up, speaking out, drowning out the noise of the media and the few who take to the streets supporting inhumanity.

We’ve still got it.

My hope is the next few months will bring us together.

Perhaps we can let some of the silly things retreat to the place they belong, the back burner, so we can focus on those that really matter.

We can become kinder, more gentle and more powerful but we have to remind ourselves of the fact that we are still the greatest country in the world. That’s why so many people from around the world still want to come here.

For those who don’t think so, don’t let the door hit you on the way out and we wish you well.

But the fact is….We’ve still got it.
