We Have An Opportunity, Don’t Blow It

Oh the noise from the right and the left is like crows from the movie “The Birds” as some bitch and moan over President Elect Trumps picks for his staff.

Personally,I think a housecleaning is in order and for each pick that draws fire, I’m gonna support because if people fear the person, that’s probably a good thing.

Change is gonna happen and it’s gonna happen quickly.

We’ve witness the stalling game for two long and I think many of us who voted for Trump are looking for, not just an oil change but a complete overhaul of our government system.

It’s fine to criticize, I do it all the time, but remember we don’t see what Trump see’s and he’s had four years to see where he messed up the last time. He’s a smart guy and isn’t going to make the same mistakes again. But also remember he is human and will make errors. Where’s the grace people? You sure want it but won’t give it to him. Back off.

Much of the criticism from the left has no standing. I see what they attack and think, “Did you learn nothing from this election? “We slapped your plans and ideas by overwhelmingly kicking you out.” We don’t like the direction you were taking the country to remember that….you lost.

The only thing the opposition has to attack us with is fear and you and I learned during COVID that leaders use fear when the facts work against them.

I see some of the people Trump is bringing into high positions and smile. It’s what we always talk about as Americans, you know, bringing people from different backgrounds, skin colors, genders and ideology together.

Now that Trumps doing that his haters are on the attack…go figure. Isn’t that the definition of intolerance?

I have a couple of concerns but believe if we let the process move forward we’ll figure it out. None of my concerns are earth shattering and I don’t know how much of it is just hearsay and media doing what it does best, conjure up headlines.

I heard someone I respect a lot, say the other day, each one of us has an instinct of right and wrong, good and evil and we need to honor it. Trust those instincts and if someone is using fear to short circuit what God has given you, run the other direction.

Also, remind yourself, desperation and hate cause even good people to do really stupid things.

There’s a lot of that going on right now.

Stay clear we have an opportunity….don’t blow it.
