Drifters Eat Up Propaganda
Sponsored by CrisDental Eugene.
Some of you follow me and know I’m reading a book called “Outwitting The Devil.”
This is not a religious book but a book that will haunt you when the Devil describes how he tricks and deceives mankind.
Napoleon Hill wrote the book back in the 30’s but didn’t have it published until 2012 or so after both he and his wife passed.
They knew the book would stir controversy and open a festering wound in our culture.
You see what the media and it’s cohorts can do to someones reputation and understand why they waited.
As our presidential election heats up this book becomes much too real.
I have friends who actually put the book down for its contents were too disturbing and real.
This morning I’m reading how the Devil in the book uses propaganda to ruin people.
The author says there are “Drifters” who leave themselves open to propaganda.
The Devil says 98% of people can easily become drifters.
I pay a lot of attention to politics, culture and where we seem to be heading.
It’s disturbing to see how easily people switch teams, give in and have backbones as brittle as a twig.
Social media doesn’t help at all.
There’s a line in the book from the Devil:
“Our best boys are working through politics and labor. We intend to take over the country with ballots instead of bullets. Americans are so sensitive they would never stand the shock of seeing their form of government changed with the aid of machine guns or tanks. So our propaganda boys are serving them a diet they will swallow, by stirring up strife between employers and employees and turning government against business and industry. When propaganda does its work, one of my boys will move in as dictator and these nine old men with their silly notions (supreme court) of the constitution will move out. Everyone will be given a job from the government treasury. When men’s bellies are filled, they drift freely with one who does the filling. Hungry men get out from under control.”
That sends a chill down my spine. If the goal is to get us inline, as was demonstrated during the COVID debacle, promising everything, appeasing the mass’ and making us dependent on one source, we are well on the way with proposals I’m hearing right now from some.
We must listen carefully to the noise used to tickle our ears.
Those who claim to want to protect our rights are using words to rob us of our right to be free.
Personally I find it interesting this book would be published now. Like a voice from the past warning of things we are living through right now.
For me, the key is, vigilance.
I’m sure we all fall for a bit of propaganda, how can we not it’s everywhere.
Seeking and finding the truth is our only protection from becoming what the book calls a “Drifter.”
One of the key points in this book is this.
Evil uses fear to stifle our soul.
The easiest way to turn someone into a drifter is to work them over until they submit to fear.
I used to see a bumpersticker on cars in Eugene Oregon that, at the time, I thought were ridiculous but now find solace in their truth.
“Question Authority, Question Everything, Kill Your TV.”
There’s a great line from the Bible that says “Fear not for fear brings on more evil.”
We don’t need anymore evil do we.
Fear not.
