Ten Days Of Left

Ten More Days

As the clock ticks I feel this stirring in my soul that says things are going to get better.

We live in challenging times with fires destroying Los Angeles and our nation sits between its new future and the rule of a demented man.

I smiled yesterday when I saw President Trump chatting it up with Obama at the Carter funeral.

When Harris walked in no one said a word to her.

I remember when people used to say how “unpresidential” Trump was, they can’t say that anymore.

World leaders respect or at least fear him.

He’s doing what many of us want, bringing in a cabinet filled with people who are not on the “A” list of the political elite but instead ready to crack a whip and get things in America running again.

I see fewer and fewer Trump haters online. Oh, I’m sure they’re out there but it is now they who are more silent as the wave of public support shifts directions and they must be careful what they say.

I see blue states like my home state of Oregon being shaken. Oh, it will take some time to lighten the blue tide. But what the Trump win did is exposed the ridiculousness of whacko policies and people are fed up enough to fight back.

We see California burning up and most of us know it’s mismanagement of not just forests and public lands, but of public officials focusing on stupid things like DEI rather than finding people who can do the jobs required.

The very people who supported these folks at the ballot box and the ideology they brought to the place, are now suffering greatly for that support. It’s really sad.

It’s as if God took both hands, grabbed the folds of the blanket of lies, and pulled the wool off people’s eyes.

What was obvious to many, is now so plain to see you’d have to be blind or ignorant to say something else.

The world will not change on January 20th but a huge sigh of relief will be heard as an ideology of stupidity is ushered from the Whitehouse to the land of what was and a new common sense approach to governance moves back in.

Ten more days.
