Oh How American’s Despise Change (Food Is Next)

I just read an article about some of the changes our new Health Secretary, Robert Kennedy, would like to see happen.
It’s obvious we as a nation are being poisoned by our food and what we allow to be put into it.
In fact, it’s not even food.
It’s flavors, chemicals and other garbage that is killing us.
We’re a fat country and I don’t mean just our GDP.
You watch, as Kennedy starts laying out his plan for change, who do you think will fight the change most?
One thing he’s suggesting is that states take a look at their food stamp programs.
Many allow recipients to buy garbage that is not good for their bodies, it’s not food, it’s killing them.
Soda, sugary cereals, ultra processed foods…WTH?
Oh and just for fun, do a little research and see what companies are lobbying for inclusion of that garbage….(hint: Soda)
My personal POV is tax dollars and food stamps should be used to encourage healthy eating not garbage ingestion. We should make it so that government assistance is used for healthy foods only.
Nothing processed, no soda, crackers and junk food.
I listened to a podcast recently and they talked about how soft drink companies and the government are in bed together when it comes to these programs.
That’s wrong.
No, for all you freedom lovers, I’m not saying people can’t choose to eat crap. What I’m saying is they shouldn’t be able to use tax dollars to do so.
What I’m also saying is our government should outlaw the use of garbage in our food, as other nations have done.
The WIC program used to limit what mothers could buy and that seemed to work well.
We’ve seen how resistant a certain group of people is to tariff’s and DOGE. Wait until Kennedy and the crew start pushing for changes in our food.
I wonder how they’ll demonize eating right and reductions of chemicals in our food? (Ironic how the clean food movement started on the left) Doesn’t matter, they’ll find a way.
As anyone who has changed their diet, lost a bunch of weight, quit smoking….all of it, will tell you,This is not easy. But what’s the alternative?
Do we continue to allow poison in our food system? Do we watch people needlessly die early because of our fear…..fear of change?
When a group of people is hellbent on destruction and ignorance, it will take each of us speaking out, to make these changes happen.
And because it’s our food, we all may be impacted, so remember that as the media mob and its followers begin to spin their tale.
