RFK: What Are We So Afraid Of?

Most of us know the healthcare system in this country is a mess.
I hit 65 this year and thought, great, I get Medicare so more will be covered. WRONG
My coverage is worse and costs me twice as much as it used to.
I recently went to a shoulder specialist who as of this year no longer takes Medicare because it’s too hard to deal with the bureaucracy.
We know Big Pharma has most of our politicians by the you-know-whats. They can deny it but we’ve seen the records and these are the people who berate RFK in the senate hearings? Yeh, they have a lot of credibility.
RFK is not perfect but neither are you, me or any of those senators sitting high on their horse in the judgement seat.
We need drastic change in our healthcare system and yet some of you fight against it…WTH?
We are a fickle people. I’m constantly reminded how easily misled some in this country are and it’s a choice.
Nothing in my life has ever come without risk. No change, worth while, ever happens without standing on the edge of a cliff and choosing the move forward.
We are our own worst enemy. We say we want change and healthcare is a high priority but a handful fight tooth and nail because the change doesn’t look like the way they thought it should look.
I know a portion of our country is nervous right now because we’ve never had a leader jump in and do so much, so fast. But if you stop for one minute and think, was the system working before? It doesn’t help that you are listening to a lazy media that has no vision just the desire to use division to bring in a few more ratings.
But a larger portion, according to how we voted, are excited as hell because someone is finally doing what they said. We don’t agree with everything but he is doing SOMETHING.
You see the stories about waste and all the people who are being paid by your tax dollars and we aren’t getting anything for it and you are okay with that? You want fewer taxes and Elon steps in and looks for efficiency problems, and you fight him. Wait, you don’t just fight him you hate him.
Trump will make mistakes. No, he’s not a perfect man but again you aren’t perfect either so why don’t you let up and see what he can do?
The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. Our nation, our leaders talk and talk, finally we have someone who pushes and pushes hard….and our response is to call names, belittle and malign?
Perhaps we deserve what we get. Maybe we really just want to complain and watch our country fall apart, as long as it doesn’t impact us. Well it will impact you and your children and their children and every generation to come.
Tonight at 5pm MT we’ll talk with a podcaster from Canada about that whole situation. I’ll see you then.
