Hopeful Verses Hopeless : Homework’s The Cure
Sponsored by CrisDental Eugene
I have never been more hopeful for this country and yet many friends, former friends and even family members are hopeless.
Those who disagree with me have no idea how I, and many who believe as it do, see this mandate by the people of America, as a positive step.
They think Trump is the end of the world and I thought Kamala would destroy what’s left of America.
So how do we move forward as a country, when we are at polar opposites?
Homework!
There is a bunch of misinformation circling in the media on both sides of the isle.
Might I suggest people stop regurgitating what they hear and instead do some homework to find out what’s true and what is a lie. (homework is not watching legacy media)
America builds its narrative off feelings and while I love feelings they cannot be trusted.
God gave us a brain and a heart so we could use them together to make critical decisions.
But the message makers know humans are much more apt to take the easy way out which is to base our ideas and opinions on how we feel, not what the facts say.
We are told from childhood to pay attention to history because that will help us avoid mistakes.
Culture today ignores history and worse tries to rewrite it so its misguided narrative is validated.
Rather than allowing facts to guide us to the truth we come up with our truth and twist the story to give our message validation.
The problem with truth is it tattles on liars. (eventually)
The problem with culture is it suffers with short and long term memory loss so by the time the facts come out most of culture is settled with the lie and onto the next issue.
What this last election showed a majority (look at the votes) of American’s is the manipulation went too far.
The left got greedy, bit off more than it could chew, shoved it down our throats and we barfed it up on November 5th.
The big problem for the left is you have no leadership and that leaves you hopeless.
But rather than look at what you did wrong (lied) you push harder, rework your narrative and worst of all ignore what the majority said.
For some the transition to a new way of doing America will not be easy.
For the rest of us it’s a welcome relief.
What we must do, and I mean all of us, is pay less attention to the message makers and become a people of truth seekers, because that is the only thing that’s going to set us free.
We won the election but must continue to push, not our agenda, but for the truth……no matter what the clatter of the day says.
