If Only I Could Remember

It All Comes From Him

Sponsored by CrisDental Eugene

There is this sweet spot in our relationship with God where we become so loyal to Him that flows through us without our effort.

I’m not there yet but have glimmers of such moments.

So many followers of God get caught up in their “ministry” or what it is they think God wants them to do.

When we do that our ego gets in the way and our life, again, becomes about us.

Oswald Chambers says “The idea is not that we do work for God but that we are so loyal to Him that he can do His work through us.”

I want to get the place in my life where I understand wholeheartedly that God is orchestrating everything.

There would be no coincidence.

I would rightfully understand in my upfront brain that He is flowing through me and all I need to do is listen and be loyal.

The prophet Hosea  said: “Your fruit comes from me (God).  Who is wise and understands these words, discerning, and knows them. For the ways of God are straight and the righteous walk in them, but the transgressors stumble on them.”

When I read that I wonder if that is why so many stumble on the truth in these days we are living in. We have a pathway that is righteous but culture claws and scratches to do what it pleases rather than what pleases God, which is righteousness. God cannot bless evil. God does not partner with liars. Wickedness eventually is judged.

It is so easy to write these words at this moment but the battle comes when I leave this quiet place and life begins to throw obstacles my way.

If only I can remember that it all comes from Him. He knows the plans He has for me. I don’t need to understand everything. My place is to be loyal to Him and remind myself of His goodness and love for me.
