What About People Who Want Hands On?

I’m sure it was 10’s of thousands of people, some of them you, turned out yesterday in a protest called “Hands Off.”

It’s great we live in a country that still allows difference of opinion, sort of.

But my point is you can still protest and that’s great.

By reading the signs on the pictures and video coming from all over the country the uniting theme seems to be a dislike of Elon Musk and Donald Trump and what they are doing.

But remember, there are a whole lot of people who put Trump in office who agree with much of what he is doing and in fact we are excited about it.

There are many things I don’t understand about this hate for Trump and what he is attempting to do.

I read economists on both sides of the tariff’s debate and am left in the middle with questions but also understanding what the president is attempting to do. I don’t think this is about tariffs or cleaning up fraud, how could anyone be against that?

Why is it so wrong for the United States to implement tariffs when other countries get a pass from some of you for doing the same thing?

Government is over spending, we all know there’s fraud, and just a few short years ago a president you helped put into office is on the record saying we had to find it, and eradicate it and that he would. He knew our debt would be the end of us.

He didn’t solve the problem and now there is someone in office who is doing something and you are mad?

What is your plan to reduce the deficit and bring jobs back to America?

What is your plan to find fraud and use our tax dollars for things we really need to do to create affordable housing and so on?

How do you intend to bring interest rates down so more people can afford to buy a home?

I don’t know if Trump and Musks plan will work but me and a lot of people out here, are sick and tired of more talk and are ready for some action.

I don’t see any plans from the democrats to do anything but create more debt. None of us know how this is going to end up but what we do know, or should know is the former plan will surly lead to disaster for all of us. Oh, and doing nothing is not an option anymore we are too close to the brink of disaster.

We’re broke.

My new grandson who isn’t born yet, will be saddled with the ignorance of a people who refused to take a chance but instead hoped it would just get better by doing nothing. Doing the same thing over and over without results is the definition of insanity.

After watching much of the video from the “Hands Off” rallies and seeing what some of you write on my social media I believe this has less to do with angst over what he’s doing and much more to do with who’s doing it.

Add to that a media that’s struggling for relevance and needs to fuel the disagreement to make money, you’ve got the makings of a disaster.

If another president had come into office and started getting our house in order, how would you respond?

I get it, you don’t like or Trust Trump, why?

I guess what I want you to know is that I hear your frustration but while you think it’s time we take our hands off there’s a whole lot of us out here who are glad we finally have the courage to put our hands on the government. America is a giant cargo ship headed for an iceberg and past leaders didn’t bother to take the helm.

My biggest concern is Trump will start making moves in the right direction but America’s ignorance will chase him away or thwart those plans before they get a chance to prove themselves. I don’t think there’s another leader brave enough to try this again and if that happens, it could be the end of us as a nation.

That’s my ultimate concern….and I can tell you I don’t care who it is at the top doing it, I just want to fixed.

So, to my friends on the Democrat side, where are your ideas?

What plans do you have that are better than what Trump is attempting to do?

And the key is can you articulate those plans without calling names or mentioning Donald Trump or Elon Musk?

Pretend like they doesn’t exist, what is your plan I’m curious?
