Finding Stability in Instability
Sponsored by CrisDental Family Dentistry & Alvord Taylor Endless Possibilities
If you listen too much to the headlines the world reveals its instability and it can really get to you.
This is no time to put our heads in the sand and wait for someone else to get involved, we must get involved.
I just finished reading a book on George Washington and the creation of the U.S. Constitution.
Disagreements, fights and long debates over details is part of the fabric of this nation.
What is not and cannot be allowed to continue is those who skirt the law and use it as a political weapon.
Fairness is imp
ortant to me and I know it’s important to some of you.
Winning at all costs is not an American value and it certainly doesn’t line up with God’s Kingdom and yet we have a group of people out here who, living in a mixture of ignorance and manipulation, will stop at nothing to get “their way.”
Yes, I said “their way” because this has nothing to do with what’s best for our country and everything to do with the thirst for power.
The big phrase of the election season is going to be “Democracy” and how a few uninformed people believe it is at risk in our country.
For the record our nation and governance style is not a democracy but a republic and those are two very different animals.
Look it up for yourself.
What America needs right now is a large dose of discernment.
We need to stop playing on a team, educate ourselves, and figure out what it is we are fighting for and then look at the ramifications of our actions.
As 2024 kicks into gear I have great hope, not hope in a party, a system or people.
In stories throughout history when a few good men and women stood up to the lies and manipulation, God intervened and I believe He again will do the same.
Already you see people tire of the messaging.
People are waking up.
Is it enough? I don’t know but history shows it doesn’t take an army to bring back righteousness.
It can happen with just a handful.
We have been forcefed false history and manipulated by the word, "Democracy".... something that the Founders warned against. "Hence it is that democracies have ever been spectacles of turbulence and contention; have ever been found incompatible with personal security or the rights of property; and in general have been as short in their lives as they have been violent in their deaths … A republic, by which I mean a government in which a scheme of representation takes place, opens a different prospect and promises the cure for which we are seeking.” — James Madison, Federalist Papers No. 10. -
