Canyon Ferry Overlook AirBNB
When Kathy and I started dreaming of leaving Oregon and moving to Montana, one of the things we wanted to do was get a place big enough to add an airbnb.
Not only is it added income as we move into retirement, it brings people into our lives from all over the world.
When we found this house in Townsend we knew it would work perfectly.
The basement is huge and gives someone 1600 sq feet of living space.
It already had wiring for a regular stove and a sink.
It has three bedrooms downstairs and a huge storage area with a washer and drier.
It took a while to get a contractor who could put in the door between the upstairs and the downstairs.
Now we’re ready to go and already have a big weekend in September booked.
We also have a small barn that future plans may include making that into a rustic place for guests to stay.
Oh, we also have a flat space for an RV to hook up to electricity.
We feel God gave us this place to share with others.
You are literally living next to a working farm.
The views of four mountain ranges and Canyon Ferry Lake are simply breath taking.
Check out the AIRBNB site look under Townsend Montana and the Canyon Ferry Overlook @ Bedroom Hide-Away.
The first three guest get a huge discount so we can get things warmed up.
We also are connecting with the local hospital and school district to see if traveling nurses or part-time teachers may need a place to stay.
