Time To Breach The Dam
I think I’m starting to figure out how to fight the conversation muzzlers in our culture.
The “upper hand” they used to have no longer works for many of us.
Intimidation has a shelf-life and as it rots begins to stink.
We are way past the stinky phase and moving into the time of deterioration.
As I sat last night at the Townsend rodeo I saw a community of people deeply connected by history, the past and a love for their community.
The attempts to culturally divide people, here, has not worked.
As the young woman sang the National Anthem the crowd did not just stand and listen.
Every hat came off, hands placed over their hearts and they sang right along with her.
There are power in numbers.
We as a nation are ready to breach the dams created by the political types, the social elites and the fearful.
There’s too much at stake to try to hide and wish it away.
This corruption and divisiveness will not just go away.
We have to eradicate it by speaking the truth and loving our neighbor again.
We aren’t against our brothers and sisters who disagree with us, not at all.
This is a battle of good and evil and principalities of darkness.
It’s a war between what is right and what is wrong.
It’s redefining what truth is not what we want it to be.
People want to get back to living in freedom.
We are being called, in a non-military way, to fight for something that up until now seemed free.
It took us some time to get to this place as a nation.
The road to a better America will not come without firm resistance.
Put your feelings in a storage bin and instead use facts to direct your way.
Oh, and hold on because we are in for one hell of a ride.

I agree we aren’t,or should not be, against our brothers and sisters who disagree with us. We certainly do disagree about what is good and what is evil.
It is the old tool of propaganda...tell a lue often enough it will become truth. Multiply that by all the media outlets, left wing talking heads, and the perversion of the educational system and you have a formula for the, as Obam put it, "the fundemental change". American as we know is on the precipice of disater. The push by the left to eliminate the electoral college is for the sole purpose of forever preventing a Republican Presiden from ever holding office. There needs to be term limits, which will never happen, to limit corruption. As I have said for years, apathy was is and will be the downfall of American and freedom as we know it.
Great video Rick, good analogies. I especially appreciate the recognition of how much fear has and continues to divide us. I was reminded of a friend of ours berating my wife and her choice to not get the boosters, "you are putting the community at risk".
It was BS then and time has shown how much it is still BS, yet fear still drives him. Knowing his personality as a hard driving risk taker, it shows how THOSE drivers (media, govt etc.) can capture and change anyone's perceptions. The challenge is to recognize this and change.
