Bold & Beautiful: Red Hill’s Cellars
When Todd Kangiser saw a picture I posted of a glass of wine in my home he wrote me and said to me “I knew you drank gin and good beer would you like to try our wine?”
He and his wife Jackie are third generation Oregonians.
Todd sent us a 2019 Steelhead Run Vineyard Syrah and a Rose. We have yet to open the Rose but will share our opinions when we do.
When we opened the bottle the smell was delightful.
My wife said “you can tell this is a boutique winery.”
I like a bold red and this, to me is bold & beautiful with a rich flavor that reminds me of Fall.
Kathy made her famous calzone for dinner which is why we popped the cork on the red first.
We highly recommend you try this wine.
They are located in the Applegate Valley in Southern Oregon.
Ah, but for our Montana friends…they ship.
Oh, the calzone was also over the top.
Now, what would compliment Rose?
