It might sound a little corny but who cares. This time of year I like to sit back and think about what I’m thankful for.
At the top of my list are always God and my family. But as I continue to write stories about people like you surface on the paper. (Computer screen)
My life is not easy but it’s good.
I am easily touched by stories like this one on this weeks RDTV show that airs Sunday on KEVU at 4:30.
It’s about a man who had all the promise of being a concert violin player but something happened to end that career. But what came of his story is nothing shy of a miracle.
I also like this time of year because so many groups are doing things to serve others. We don’t do enough of that in our lives but non-profits like Womenspace do it all the time.
I posted this video about a gift-wrapping fundraiser Womenspace is holding at the Holiday Market and people went crazy liking it.
I hope you have a nice Thanksgiving and do yourself a favor don’t go shopping on this amazing day. Stay home with your family, read a book or go see a movie. There will always be time to shop and besides we all spend too much on Christmas as it is.
If you don’t have a book or no money to go to a movie click here and watch this Sunday’s Rick Dancer TV show, right now.
