For 25 years I worked as a Journalist/Television News Anchor in Western Oregon. I love to write and for 15 years straight was awarded “Best News Writing Awards” for my work. I’ve always been a storyteller and with social media, my connection to people is now that much easier. In 2008 I ran for Oregon Secretary of State and lost the General Election by a hair. Now, doing what we're doing around the Pacific Northwest I'm so glad we lost.

All that experience and living in the public eye gives me an audience that is growing and very active on social media. My life is about giving people their voice and now we do it through video production, Facebook Live and regular blogs and a weekly commercial television show.  This is a place to “Get Real” and boy do we get real. Here, all voices are welcome, yes, especially those we disagree with.
