Turn Around Youth
Young people need to know that they have value and purpose. Students need to reach a point in their lives where they realize it’s up t them to turn their lives around. There’s a program in Lane County that honors this difficult step. It’s one of my favorite events to emcee and this year we thought we’d share the story with you.

I received this award back in 2006 when I was in 8th grade at Cal Young. I still have my award held on my wall. I forgot about getting that award, it’s nice to remember when I decided to change, not who I was, but how I acted, spoke, and dealt with what I was dealing with. 3 years and looking back to how I have change puts myself in awe.
