Time to Lose myself.

I hear people say “God has called me to do this or that” and I wonder. I hear folks say “this is my purpose from God” and I say nothing. I agree with Oswald. I don’t think we have a clue what God is doing and the deeper you go the more vague it becomes.
I no longer look for purpose or mission I usually discover both in the rearview mirror. Our culture longs for usefulness from its citizens when in the Kingdom of God use is not the question it’s obedience to one.
So why do we as people keep trying to find ourselves with the real message is to lose ourselves?

  Hi Rick,
  Citizens of the Kingdom of God are still waiting for a Nation whose foundations are of stone (not of the sands of this earth)” The call of Abraham”.
  So till then we live in tents (flesh)even though the promise is fulfilled through Christ . But we can't set aside the fact that Jesus only did what He saw (instructed by) His Father doing, raised the dead (only to die again) heal the sick (only to get sick again) cleanse the lepers (just to find they had bigger problems then leprosy).
  You know we are to ask, seek & knock, and if we believe it is accounted to us as righteousness (whose prayers avail much) as with the great cloud of witnesses (whose behavior was as earthly as you or I and the whole of mankind most ,if not all the time)
  I think what OC is addressing is the attitude of earthly contentment in these tents we call bodies, hopes and dreams to have the best tent in town. I think he is saying “make sure not to loose the FACT that its a tent” It's OK to have a nice tent, just don't make it your home.

  very well done!
  I'm sure it will open many doors for our Lord to work through you & give you new freedoms you desire, & I'm sure will enjoy.
