The Great Divide: West vs East (click here for video)
I really like the people, the land and the feel of Eastern Oregon. Perhaps that’s because my family is from a place called Haines, not far from Baker City. But there’s something very honest about the people on the other side of the mountain. (not that we aren’t honest on this side) You ask them a question and they don’t care who likes or dislikes their answer they tell you what they think. On this side of the mountain, we position ourselves, check the polls and put our finger in the air to see which way the wind is blowing, before saying a thing. So, on my recent visit to Mitchell, Oregon, to follow Gubernatorial candidate Allen Alley, I visited the folks in Mitchell. It’s worth listening too. We’ll have more interviews with them later. You can say what you want, but don’t deny that what they say is true. (my opinion)
