A month or so ago I discovered every time I got up to get out of my chair my legs were cramping. I run and swim a lot so my legs get their fair share of use. It was getting so bad I'd limp to my car at the end of the day.
I read an article that said: "Sitting is the new Smoking" in terms of health care. More and more offices are providing employees with stand up desks. I know it sounds crazy and uncomfortable but it's not. I have been standing for over a month now and I don't need a chair. Best of all my legs don't cramp at the end of the day.
One of the other people in my hallway just got one of those fancy stand up attachments for a desk. I looked into those but they're darned expensive. So, I went out to the barn and grabbed a few 4-by-6 and made a lift for my desk. I know, it's rather getto for a guy with a video business but I like to think of it as recycling and sustainable. Not often you get to use those two buzz words in the same sentence and live it.

I know, some of you will make fun of me but lets just see who is more comfortable at the end of the day. I wonder if this means I'm going to have to go to more funerals?
