Prostate Cancer: The PSA Test is important. (click here for video)
A simple blood test can be the difference between life and death and yet so many men won’t get their PSA checked. I started checking mine five years ago and watched the numbers rise to dangerous levels. I had four biopsies and no cancer. Finally, a few weeks ago, my fifth biopsy turned up my greatest fear. Because my doctor persisted with those PSA tests and the biopsies, we found my cancer early (we hope). Don’t wait guys. When you hit your 40′s, and at least by your 50′s ask your doctor to do a PSA Test.

What is happening? I know so many men in their 40's that are being diagnosed with Prostate Cancer. This used to be something mostmen didn't worry about until theier 70's or older. Now they don't even want to test on men at that age, I assume because the insurance companies feel that those men have lived their lives and if they do get it it doesn't matter….that can't be further from the truth.
Rick, I wish you the best of luck with this. You are wise beyond your years for keeping up on the testing. Hopefully you touched one man with your story.
