God the Father sent His Son as the completion of the promise given to Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden. What is fantastic is to see that the Gospel is absolutely written in the very stars, and that the probable conception of Jesus in His mother Mary, would have happened during the Feast of Lights. Jesus is the light of the world, and the conception during the shortest daylight hours of the year is rather comforting.
