I don’t do New Year Resolutions. I know they probably work for some people but anytime I have to tell someone else I’m going to change I highly doubt my heart and soul are really ready.
For me change comes not with words or deeds but when I get so sick of me that I’m willing to bulldoze things out of my life to make room for something new.
On Rick Dancer TV this Sunday at 4:30 on KEVU the show is filled with changes. We’ll show you changes in a downtown, business people who took big risks and changed some things and a little girl whose life changed mine.
Boey Byer was eight years old when we met. At first it was an assigned story that KEZI wanted to do to promote Extreme Home Makeovers. But once I met Boey the story became much more personal and the end, a new beginning for yours truly.
Boey is the last big story I did in my TV Career. Not long after her death I quit working at KEZI and started a short career in politics.
I’m going to air one piece from the half hour special we produced on Boey’s story and then in two weeks we’ll air the other two parts.
I hope you enjoy her as much as I do.
Also in the show some new hotspots in Springfield.
