And Being Moved with Compassion….

When was the last time you were motivated by compassion?

Lot’s of times we are motivated by anger, self-righteousness and the desire to be “right”.

As I read over the stories of Christ is see stories where He is moved by compassion to help and heal those around Him.

They didn’t have to sign up for a class or membership or even tithe to His group.

Compassion from the heart of God is all it took and is what it takes today to change a world.

When was the last time you were moved by compassion?

  • I just love the message you have been delivering the last few days. You have inspired me again.

The people in this area, Eugene/Springfield, have a line. “Sorry, but I already gave at the office”, or something that means pretty much the same thing. To be moved by compassion, and actually doing something, is considered a weakness; and a person that can be moved by compassion is one to stay clear of; according to a lot of books out there.

Some of the churches in our area preach, that giving to anyone but the organization/membership is wrong; that helping an individual weakens both you and them. I’m so glad Jesus didn’t think that way.

It is so easy to change a life, with very little; if one does it without asking nothing in return. In fact, the life one might be changing could be their own. Just Say’n… ;-)
